I just picked up a 11 week old Mal. He is easy to lure but jumps instead of sits for the treat and loses track of the lure. He also walks between my legs instead of on the sides 😂
Training should be compulsory for the dog owners BEFORE they chose a breed. Most people just think a dog is a dog but your training videos show how intense and energetic this breed is.
Hey brother I just had 8 belgian mallinois puppies. They are 3 weeks old at the moment and I have a question. What treats do you feed your puppies and mushrooms food as well?
1. How does feeding mostly through training relates to dogs growing up constantly looking for food? I heard that was a thing but not sure…
2. How long do you lure them? With this young puppies do you still lure just until they perform well? Or do you additionaly use some age minimums or something?
I would love to hear you going full on webinar on how do you use lures, what mistakes you see an how to avoid and what exactly do you do, for how long etc. since your approach seems to be what most people consider mistake in training with food and yet you seem to have great results with it. Not only with puppies but in general
Just got a 6 month old rescue Malinois. Do you have any tips for teaching her to be more playful? She is very hesitant to play like she has a bad past of being scolded.
love you, your channel and your work!! i also have a question, when you make them spin, heel or switch sides, do you give the name of the command at this age or should it be that they just map out the move for now and get a name of the command later? if yes, then when's the right time to give the command, a name(like how much after they map out the move and at what age preferably?) I'm planning to get a puppy so I'm trying to do everything right😭 thank you for the nicest content!!❤️
Hi. Hope you are well. I have been enjoying your channel and thanks for the great content. I would like to know if you have ever experienced or heard of a trained malinois attacking a child? I am adopting a 1 year old female and introduced her to my kids. She seems to be calm and submissive towards them. But my wife’s college’s daughter was badly attacked by their malinois yesterday. The dog was purchase from a breeder and was getting obedience training. The mali is apparently 7 months old. But the pup was showing aggression towards their other dogs. The mali showed no aggression towards the family and even slept in the younger daughter’s room. Apparently the dog attacked the older sister whilst she was leaving the home and walking towards the car. Bites were to the arm and face.
Now my wife is very afraid of the mali we are in the process of adopting. I feel the dog must have been triggered by something but not much else is known.
Really enjoying your content. What are you feeding them during training? is that the same thing you feed them all the time or are there different types of food you use?
Im very interested in this breed. I want a dog I can bond with, train and do adventurous things with. Please Let me know how to go about getting one of these puppies
I love watching these videos. It's clear there is a lot of love and work that goes into developing Malinois. I've gained a lot of knowledge on puppy rearing.
Hey! Can you tell us what food you're using and how you make it? I'm bringing home a BM puppy in 4 weeks and it would be very helpful to know ahead of time.. Thanks!!
I love watching you train and interact with the puppies. You show how it can be done with love and kindness. Consistency and patience are the key. Thank you for sharing!
What an honor to watch a true professional in action! Thank you for sharing this evolution of your pups with us! What an amazing breed!!! I look forward to watching their progress in training and in reaching their potential. What a gift. Thank you 🤩 I am a new subscriber! See you next time.
Since switching my malinois to the food you use, her training has gotten extremely attentive and her heels outside are on spot now, make sure your dog absolutely adores they're food for training
Do you have a anytime any age return policy? All ethical breeders should have one. It provides a safety net so the dogs don’t end up in a shelter or a bad situation.
It is wonderful to see a genuine professional in a field loving what they do. If everyone who had GSD and BMD would spend this amount of time training them with such a gentle demeanor, we would far more rarely read or hear of their misbehavior.
I finished my education recently as a dog training instructor and behaviour analysis, I’d love it if you would show how you start out training puppies to do bite work, as I see a lot of IGP trainers use the «tear/pull» section of hunting play behaviour to teach bite work, while I notice your dogs are in «kill» mode, I’d love to see you make a video about how you avoid the dogs using their other instincts and using positive reinforcement from the start to teach them this.
I've been with this channel for a couple months now and dude you are a totally wholesome dog owner/handler/trainer/breeder. It warms my heart to see these puppies cared for so much. I know you make a living from this so of course you do the best you can but still! I'm also beginning to fall in love with the Belgian Malinois as a dog breed and even though I would never have one myself, they are a beautiful and strong breed. Great job!

I would appreciate your opinion on this. Thanks.

I love everything about you and your dogs. Hope you are well😊
what kind of paste do you use? I think I am about to get a Malinois and definitely want to train it as much as possible on my own. Thanks!

Soooooooo cute ❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you were teaching them to bark and she did bark, caught myself clapping for her. Are you training us too?😂
What is the puppy paste/treat food you're teaching them with?

So basically we need to teach the puppy how to lure it with your hand while using a treat?
I have an 8 week old GSD x Labrador. What brand/type training treats do you use for the puppies?
Fun and also educational to watchers . Thanks
I think PINK is going to be the next alrick and/or ALexandra….she's super quick…but Purple is still my fav 😁

This guys knows what he is doing. He is brilliant. Love the BM, incredible breed. ❤
Someone needs to send this to Kristi Noem.
Have you made a video on the difference between female and male dogs? It seems like females tend to be sharper, while males are more chill.
1:21 the puppy prancing aaaaw
Was that kibble paste in the blender? how'd you make that?
