I thought you used the slip leash in your videos? I've tried both and it's still a toss up with my 2 yr. old Minni Aussie. She thinks she needs to be at the front of my foot…we're trying! lol I've learned a lot since I've found your video's. Thanks from Michigan!!

Are these leashes (the 4-ft. leather) still available? I have a jack Russell who's almost 6. We've done aboatload of training, but still having jumping-up issus and over-excited when people come to the house.she's smart and learns quickly. I always feel it's my lack of consistency that is the "problem". Our trainer worked with prong collar. It works well on walks, so that I rarely need to correct…but without that, she pulls too much.
The thing I like best about your Training is it is educational and not military like

The 3rd day I had Abbie home, it was raining, so, I, too, put the retractable on her. Our back yard is about 140 feet, she went running to back, hates rain/wet feet. Pulled leash out. I was so shocked, speechless. Looked down to see her sitting politely beside me with leash in mouth. If she had chased something, she'd probably still be running! πππ΅πΊπΈ
