Actually stray dogs don't want to hurt you. İt's just pointless if you think bout it, mostly they wanna defend themselves if they sense danger. İf you walk past them they are not gonna do anything. They may bark at you but that's all, just ignore. İ even had a situation where me and my friend were running, some dogs started chasing us and i yelled him to stop. When we stood still the dogs ran to us and started barking but did not proceed to attack, so we just walked away. Animals gonna sense it if you're acting protective or afraid. Just be calm.
